C. annuum. Hot, squash pepper. Flattened, convoluted fruit. Fruit mature from green to red. Wrinkled surface; pendant. Highly corrugated in cross-section. Fruit have very thin walls. Placenta is highly pungent, walls moderately so. Mature fruit measure 1-1.5" long by 1.5-2" wide. Plants grow 1-2' tall with few branches. Green plants, purple nodes. Moderately pubescent leaves and stems. White flowers; exserted stigmas. Average productivity, no lodging, and mid-season maturing when grown in 2014 at Heritage Farm. This variety was donated to SSE circa 1981 by the late Faxon Stinnett (OK ST F) who stated that he received the variety in 1960 from Narcie Walters, a Native American woman in east Texas.
