C. annuum. Sweet pepper. Very good fruit set. Small flattened tomato-shaped fruit that ripen from green-orange-bright red. Many seeds because of small size; moderately thick flesh. Uniform fruit shape and size that measure 0.9-1.3" long, 1.4-2.0" wide, and weigh 0.5-1.0 oz. Plants erect; intermediately branched; stem green with light purple nodes. Leaves green and ovate. Flowers white. Seeds deep yellow. Moderate productivity. Early to mid season maturity. Donated to SSE by William Woys Weaver (PA WE W). From William's grandfather H. R. Weaver's pepper collection, who acquired it sometime about 1918 from his grandfather, Abraham Weaver of Lancaster, PA. Used by Mennonites as a stuffing pepper. SSE Accession # 117447
