Romano (Heirloom)

Pole. Snap beans are crunchy, juicy, and moderately sweet. Long, wide, romano-type pods measure 4.2-5.6" long and average 0.7" across. Slightly curved, green pods turn pale yellow with a pink blush at maturity. Large, plump seeds are tan with brown stripes. 5-6 seeds per pod. Plants are moderately to strongly climbing with light pink flowers. Average productivity in 2023 at Heritage Farm. SSE Accession # 102902
