Sarit Gat

This is a great pepper that deserves more attention. I purchased this yellow, cayenne-shaped gem from Uprising Organics after a friend, David Butt, gave me some the previous year. Please consider ordering these from Uprising as long as they are listing it. Both the flavor and productivity of this variety are outstanding! The pictured plant was part of the end-of-year cooler-weather harvest after several rounds of picking. The fruit was larger earlier in the season, comparing well to other cayenne types. I actually found this plant growing under a tipped-over tomato after harvesting the rest without thinking to take a picture! Plants do well close enough together that they can support each other and if planted in a single row I suspect they may tip over due to the sheer volume of fruit they produce. Medium heat.
