DRY-BUSH
This is a bush bean best eaten at the dry stage. The dry beans are kidney shaped and white with dark brownish purple spots all over. They have a smooth texture and a slightly earthy texture. It is not hard seeded. The pods are light green, straight, and wide. They are 5-6" long. The flowers are pink. Productivity is slightly below average and it stops flowering rather quickly. This is an early maturing variety. Donated to SSE in 1981 by bean collector John Withee of Lynnfield, Massachusetts and the Wanigan Associates. SSE Accession # 100977
