Wild Ginger

Asarum canadense; creeps underground in sandy soils; heart-shaped leaves and squarish purple flowers; rhizome used like culinary ginger; medicinal properties somewhat different. Beware its potentially abortifacient qualities. Live starts sent in early Spring.
