Market mature fruit green with pale green stripes and speckling. Good texture and flavor; crisp; juicy; mild. Fruit short; blocky; glossy; straight; superficially ribbed; slightly angular in cross-section. Intermediate number of black spines. Pale green flesh. Fruit 3-4" long, 1.5-2" wide, and 2-4oz. Seed mature fruit orange-brown with minor cracking, 4-6" long, 2-3" wide, and 7-15oz. Mid-season maturing when grown in 2014 at Heritage Farm. Acquired by SSE co-founder, Kent Whealy, from Russian seedswoman Marina Danilenko; originally from USSR. SSE Accession # 109265
