SUMMER
Small, golden, round spring radish. Amazing texture, crisp and juicy. Low pungency. White flesh. Roots 1-1.8" wide, 1.4-1.6" wide. Plants 3-8" tall, 6-11" in diameter. Good heat tolerance, can be enjoyed into the summer. Brix 3.9. This variety was donated to SSE circa 2006 by SSE member Nancy Wygant (PA WY N) of Pennsylvania. She got the seeds from Bartram's Garden in Philadelphia, a 50-acre public garden and National Historic Landmark at the former home of early American plantsman John Bartram (1699-1777).
