Melrose

Sweet. 85 day ripen. 4" length, 1-1.5" width. Deep red color when ripe. Sweet and rich in flavor, delicious both raw and fried. Melrose originated in Southern Italy and was brought to the US by a family of Southern Italian immigrants in 1903. The name 'Melrose' comes from Melrose Park in Chicago, where the family who first brought Melrose to the US lived. O.S. WI HO C
