Also known as Poire Jaune. An old 17th century variety that still a favorite with a lot of my friends. Fruits are pear-shaped, about 1 ½ inch by 1 inch, 1-2 ounces, and bright yellow. Not uncommon to have cracking Subtle flavor, sweet, and juicy. Regular leaves, indeterminate. 75-80 days to maturity after transplanting.
