Classic green butterheadyes that produces well-developed heads with a light red tinge at the leaf tips. Leaves are highly blistered and moderately curly. This variety is mild flavored with a little bitterness and a tender yet crisp and crunchy texture. Plants are fairly uniform, but show stress in cool and dry conditions. Plants reach 5-7" tall by 10-12" wide. Mid-season maturing and slow to bolt. White seeded. Acquired by SSE from the De Giorgi seed company. SSE Accession # 111476
