Manchester Table

Orange tapered roots with pointed tips and rounded tops measure 5-8" and weigh 2-5 oz. Roots have ridged skin with slight green coloring near the top. Interior flesh is orange to yellow and has a large core. Low bolting and cracking/splitting tendency when grown in 2015 at Heritage Farm. Leaves dark green with sparse hairs and moderate dissection. Fairly juicy variety with solid classic carrot taste. Given to SSE by John Navazio (WA NA J2) who indicated it's an old English variety. SSE Accession # 107061
