Plants 2-3' tall. Elongated, curved, purple market mature fruit, averaging 5.5" long, 1.5" wide, and 2.9 oz. Fruit born singly. Fruit becomes white and then yellow at seed maturity. Non-pigmented plants. Few prickles on stems, pedicels, and calyxes. Dull, pubescent leaves with intermediate lobing. White flowers, most born singly. Standard productivity. Early maturing. Commonly grown in Kashmir. Donated to SSE by Richard Price (NY PR R2) who received the variety from Nancy Kaul. Nancy brought seeds from Kashmir, India. SSE Accession # 109624
