Miscuchu

Interesting pepper that resembles the Datil. Spindle-shaped, yellow, waxy, crinkled peppers adorn bushy, fuzzy plants. Fruit 3-3.5" long, 0.75" wide in its mid-section. Thin but firm walls and tough skin. Fruit hold very well on the plants. Few seeds. 1-3 fruit per node. Fruit are late to ripen but can be eaten at any stage. Very subtle flavor. Slightly fruity but lacking sweetness. Very crunchy. Medium heat. Plants 1.5-2' tall. Tremendously productive in 2020 at Heritage Farm despite suffering from leaf curl, which none of our other peppers had in 2020. Capsicum chinense. SSE Accession # 118107
