Giant white sugar beet, broad elliptic to narrow obtriangular in shape. White flesh with faint rings. Semi-smooth skin. Roots mostly buried in soil. Leaves are green and upright with a light green midrib. Roots measured 5.1-6.1" long, 2-3.4" wide, and weighed 0.3-1.5lb, although previous descriptions clocked this variety around a foot long, 6 inches in diameter, and about 5 pounds. Flavor sweet and a bit fibrous. Long season. SSE Accession # 106318
