Highland Burgundy

This is botanical seed harvested from potato seed berries which self-pollinated [not a controlled cross] therefore the TPS name matches with the female parent which self or cross pollinated with unknown male parent. For this variety I only have 5 seeds to mail per order. This is one of the few varieties of TPS that I had room and time to grow out in 2014. Go on the online Yearbook to see pictures to compare the female parent with red flesh and the TPS 2014-2 seedling with yellow flesh. The tuber was close to the surface and rodent damaged. But it will be interesting to see how this new clone develops. The TPS plant developed more seed berries, while the female parent did not in 2014. I was only able to extract seed from one of them though, therefore I don't have much seed to share.
