Paprika, Boldog Kolasca

C. annuum. This is a great paprika pepper! It has very thick walls and tough skin which makes it unpleasant to eat raw. The flavor is exceptionally sweet, almost like candy, and the heat is a medium burn, hitting uniformly all over the mouth. The peppers are long and pointed with lateral corking/cracking at maturity. They mature from dark green to dark red. The fruits measur 1" wide and 4.5-6" long. The plants are small, 2.5' tall, with sparse foliage and did not lodge. The peppers are easy to harvest to due the open growth habit of the plants. Early to mid season maturing. SSE Accession # 117892
