Large, pink beefsteak. Indeterminate growth, regular leaves. Well-rounded flavor. Sweet with medium to high acidity. Meaty and juicy texture. Thin skin. Strongly recessed stem end with a slightly indented blossom end. Moderate radial and concentric cracking on most fruit. Slight cat-facing is common. Fruit 2.8-4.6" long, 2.8-5.1" wide, 0.5-1.2lbs. Plants suffered from septoria leaf spot in 2014 growout at Heritage Farm. Low fruit set. Late maturing. Originally offered in the 1998 SSE Yearbook Exchange by Charles Wyatt (MD WY C) who stated this variety is an heirloom from the Church family of Hot Springs, VA that was collected by Jack Schaeffer.
