Smooth, white, long, tapered roots. Low uniformity of shape. Shoulder width ranges from medium to broad. Some roots taper more dramatically than others. 40% of roots had significant forking when grown in raised beds in 2015 at Heritage Farm. Whitish-cream flesh. Moderate symptoms of canker. Roots measured 12-20" long and 2.5-3.5" wide and weighed 1-1.5lbs at the end of the season. Donated to SSE by Will Bonsall (ME BO W) who received this variety from SSE member Brian Smith (ENGL SM B) a vegetable breeder in the UK. Smith introduced this variety into the 1997 SSE Exchange and originally acquired it from CV Kings. SSE Accession # 114742
