C. moschata. Buff-colored, oblate to round fruit with persistent green netting turning dark yellow at maturity. Smooth rind, lightly ribbed. Averages 8.5" length, 9.5" diameter, 9.5 lbs. Plants vining. Leaves moderate to distinctly lobed; silvering strong to weak. Roasted seeds have good texture and flavor; seed coat is thin and not tough. As a winter squash, has stringy texture like a spaghetti squash, subtle flavor, not much sweetness, bright orange color. SSE Accession # 120948
