Long, thick, high-quality stems. Tops are not particularly uniform. Leaves erect, ranging from light green to blue-green, relatively narrow and tightly folded. A small percentage of plants bolted by mid-fall of the first year. Strong flavor for a leek, described as grassy, musty, sulfury.
