Yellow intermediately tapering carrot with pointed tips and flat green tops. Uniform, straight roots have ridged skin, and yellow flesh throughout. Roots 6.5-8.5" long and weigh 1.5-4 oz. Slightly dissected leaves are dark green and very vigorous and bushy. Low bolting tendency when grown in 2015 at Heritage Farm. Best used as a soup carrot. Brix 10.2. Donated to SSE by Lon Rombaugh (OR RO L) who acquired this variety from the Volkseigne Saatgutbetriebe in the former East Germany. SSE Accession # 106850
