Cherry, Pearly Pink

A staff favorite for taste in 2011! Large, dark pink, slightly oblong cherry tomato. Very productive in clusters of 4-8. Fruit average 1.5" in length, 1" in diameter, 1oz. Fruit born in bunches of 3-6. Moderate acidity with a bit of sweetness. Pleasant tomato flavor, enjoyed by 2024 SSE staff. Indeterminate growth habit and regular leaves. slightly exserted flower stigma. Brix 5.1. pH 4.26. Early maturing. Given to SSE in the early 1980s by Mrs. Echo Larson (OR LA J) who obtained it in 1980 from Mildred Kotar of Pineville, Louisiana. SSE Accession # 121582
