Crisphead. Very handsome, dark green leaves with burgundy tinge. Crisp, juicy, with a subtle sweetness. Well-developed head at market maturity. Thick, moderately blistered leaves. Heavily toothed, undulating leaf margin. Very uniform plants measure, 8-9" tall and 12-14" in diameter when grown on Heritage Farm in 2018. Early maturing. Black seeded.
