Pole lima. Small, rounded, white seeds have are plump and have a great smooth, creamy texture. Fresh limas have a sweet flavor. Slightly curved pods with a small beak. Mature pods average 2.2" long by 0.6" wide. 2-3 seeds per pod. Strongly climbing plants have white flowers. Above average productivity when grown on Heritage Farm in 2018. Donated to SSE by Emilie Delahoussaye (LA DE E) who received the variety from Mr. Ignace Bourque. He likely grew it since the late 1920s, but this variety was grown as early as 1900 in Vermilion Parish, LA by a farmer named Bannard-day Bourque. SSE Accession # 112667
