Solid, round, uniform roots. Roots measure 2.6-4" long, 3.5-4.3" wide, and weigh 11-17 oz. Plants 10-14" tall and 13-20" wide. Plants have dark green leaves and many thin petioles. Inner petioles are purple, while outer petioles are green. Plants have a semi-erect growth habit. Mild celery flavor with a hint of fennel. Acquired by SSE from Johnny's Selected Seeds of Maine.
