Slobolt

Curly leaf. As it's name implies this variety is extremely slow to bolt. Plants 4-6.3" tall and 12-15" wide. Yellow-green leaves are oakleaf shaped and have a highly wavy but slightly toothed margin. White seeded. Leaves 5.5-7.85" long and 4.75-6.75" wide. Did not bolt when grown in 2015 at Heritage Farm. SSE acquired this accession from the Leibniz-Institut für Pflzanzengenetik und Kulturpflanzenforschung (IPK gene bank) in Gatersleben, Germany during the 1990s SSE Accession # 111954
