C. pepo. Acorn squash. Small acorn shaped fruit are a interesting cream/tan/yellow/orange color. Fruit have very pronounced ribbing. Fruit measure 4-6 inches long, 3.5-5 inches wide, and weigh up to 2 pounds. Yellow flesh is up to an inch thick. Highly vining plants. Mid-season maturing and above average productivity when grown in 2016 at Heritage Farm. Great eating qualities. Flesh is sweet, flavorful, and buttery. Dry matter content 18.0. BRIX reading 9.2.
