Batavia Laura

Crisphead. Highly savoyed, ruffled, yellow-green leaves. Plants formed a loose, circular head at maturity. Wonderful texture, crisp and tender. Plants reach 7-8" tall and 14-15" in diameter. Early maturing and early bolting when spring planted. White seeded. Acquired by SSE from Peace Seeds (CV Pe1). A variety by this name has been exchanged in the SSE Yearbook Exchange for at least 20 years. SSE Accession # 111574
