Sweet Spanish

Large, red, bell pepper. Thin walls but very crunchy! Juicy and sweet with a nice, mild flavor. Wide triangular to bell shaped fruit. Smooth skin with some corking. Fruit 4-5" long, 2.5-3.0" wide, 5-10oz. Plants 2.5-3' tall. Not as productive as other peppers. Later maturing. Capsicum annuum. This accession matches the description of Sweet Spanish listed in Field and Garden Vegetables of America, 1863. SSE Accession # 116199
