Relatively short stems are quite wide and stocky although there is some variation. 6-7" long, 1-1.5" wide. Most stem ends have some basal swelling. Bluish-green leaves are broad and erect. Mild, not particularly sweet, with a slightly off-putting flavor. Definitely not bad, but it was our least favorite of the 2020 leeks. SSE Accession # 111290
