Giant Belgium

AKA Giant Pink Belgium. Indeterminate, regular leaf. 88-90 days. Gigantic, meaty tomatoes with a mild, very sweet flavor with no acidity. Fruit are usually about 2 lbs, but can weight up to five. A favorite dual-use slicer great for burgers, BLTs, and salsa, as well as sauce and canning. This old variety produces very attractive, slightly flattened, ribbed pink fruits with pale yellow-tinted shoulders. The blossom end is smooth. Since their dense flesh is exceptionally sweet, with no acidity, they are sometimes used to make wine.
