Joyce Fetterley's Red and White

Gorgeous dark red and white seed, irregular division line with a few small red speckles on some, 1/2x3/8x1/4", in short fat pods 3.5-4.5", leathery when dry. Highly productive. 55 seeds/oz. In 2014 (good bean year) 12 plants produced 440 seeds (8 oz). Said to retain color when cooked and to be tasty snap or dry. Very popular at local seed swaps. 3 year seed germinated 80% and 4 year only 30%. (6-year dead). Can send 10 2017 seed.
