Pimento, Burpee's Early

Sweet, non-pungent pimento pepper. Glossy, red, triangular fruit have a blunt end. Thick walled and thick skinned. Mild flavor. Fruit measure 3-4" long, 2-2.5" wide, and weigh 2-4oz. Pendant. Brix score: 7.0. Green, sparsely branched plants reach 2.5' tall. White flowers. Highly productive and not particularly early when grown in 2015 at Heritage Farm. C. annuum. SSE Accession # 116113
