Indische Fleisch

Indeterminate. Regular leaf. Medium to large 3-4", slightly flattened, dark purplish-brown fruit with green shoulders, ugly inside but delicious. This is a classic situation where a tomato has been saved as an heirloom because its taste is so good, its appearance can be forgiven. From Prof. Klapprott who obtained seeds from a friend in the former East Germany. First offered in Seed Savers 1992 Yearbook by Curtis D. Choplin of South Carolina.
