Shelling pea. Petit pois type. Unique variety! Clusters of up to four white flowers per peduncle. 2-3 flowers develop into pods. Pods are yellow-green, narrow, medium-small, and curved. 7-8 peas per pod. We found peas to be quite astringent and dry, but perhaps they taste better cooked. Plants grow up to 2.5 feet tall and need to be trellised. Plants grow quite top heavy. Leaves are very small and have serrated margins. Moderate to high productivity. Early to mid-season maturing. Dry seeds are small, green and slightly dimpled. SSE Accession # 114769
