Green, prickly pods with 6-9 ridges per fruit. Pods are mostly straight, but slightly curved pods are possible. Dry pods 5-7" long; 0.8"-1" wide. Plants green with red patches and slight pubescence along stems. Pods have a standard okra taste and texture. Plants suffered from wilt in 2014 growout at Heritage Farm. Acquired by SSE from Unwins seed company. Reportedly from the Campbell Soup Co., 1944. SSE Accession # 113969
