VEGETABLES / OKRA
This is a variable okra variety. The name is also a bit of a misnomer, as the pods are ridged, not smooth. Most plants are medium-short and have green, spiny pods that develp a red blush and become long and curves as they mature. Some plants are significantly taller and produce yellow-green pods with no red blush, rather than green ones. These plants also produce flowers with no external spot, unlike the main type. All the plants are highly productive with a pod at every leav axil and short internodes. Pods have a good flavor and are edible up to 7". SSE Accession # 114084
