Vines prostrate, 12-18" tall. Slight purple pigmentation at nodes. Violet flowers. Pods develop purple pigmentation on tip at maturity, becoming brown when dry. Partially erect, slightly curved pods, averaging 5.7" long by 0.3" wide. 13-16 seeds per pod. Solid red, rhomboid seeds. Dry cowpeas have standard flavor. Standard productivity. Early maturing.
