Mayo's Delight

Indet reg leaf 85 days. Always on the lookout for new oxheart type tomatoes because of their dense, meaty and flavorful almost seedless flesh. Mayp's was a highlight in 2017. Seeds for this nameless variety were left on the doorsteps of Mayo Underwood with a note asking her to make space in her garden for it. Lacking the space, she gifted them to Jeff Fleming who found it to be a unique and wonderful tomato and named it after her. Deep scarlet red hearts are beautifully fluted and average around one and a half pounds, have perfect acid to sweet ratio, and are fantastic for sauces or fresh eating. Plants display wispy foliage which is common with this type, but are not stingy, setting out many hearts. A real delight!
