Cherokee Trail of Tears

75 days. Pole bean, prolific and versatile, with pale purple blossoms; grows well on a tipi but produces more on trellis; this very versatile bean serves both as a dry bean and also for early green beans. Delicious and productive but has a definite lifespan. Makes a good black bean hummus.
