Pole bean. Pods straight to curved, beaked, green, 6" long and 0.5" wide, with 6-7 seeds each. Plants vigorous, growing to 8'. Flowers white. Seeds white, about 0.5" long. Grown by Gene Forster in 2021; he reported that none of the pods had the typical wax bean color. From Joachim Nousch (GERM NO J) who shared this bean in the 2002 SSE Yearbook Exchange where he described it as a variety from the Kroger family near Schwerin in northern Germany; an heirloom in Kroger family since 1850.
