PINK-PURPLE
Pink, plum-shaped fruit with a pointed end. Indeterminate growth, regular leaves. Outstanding, rich flavor. Sweet and low acid. Juicy with a soft interior. Moderate radial cracking and slight concentric cracking on most fruit. A few fruit are fasciated. Fruit measure 3-3.4" long by 1.5-2.3" wide and weigh 0.2-0.6lbs. Plants were affected by septoria leaf spot in 2014 growout at Heritage Farm. Average productivity. Early maturing. Acquired by SSE from Jeff Dawson (CA DA J2). Originally offered in the SSE Yearbook Exchange by Carolyn Male who obtained the variety in 1992 from Joseph Bratka (NJ BR J) and wrote that it is from the Black Forest region of Germany.
