Arlington Red Cranberry

Donated to SSE in 1981 by bean collector John Withee of Lynnfield, Massachusetts and the Wanigan Associates. Withee received the variety from Robert Kennedy (MI KE R). SSE suspects that this may be an example of the 'Arlington Red Cranberry' bean that was introduced to the US seed trade at least as early as 1885. SSE Accession # 101276
