Variability in root shape. Some roots are very broad shouldered with a medium/strong taper. Other roots are more long and slender with a gradual taper. Moderately smooth, whitish cream skin. Broad, medium-deep crowns. Roots measured 6-11" long and 2-3" wide, and weighed 7-14 ounces at the end of the season. Little to no root forking. Susceptible to canker. Donated to SSE by Nancy Arrowsmith (AZ AR N) who indicated this variety is from Ekkarthof in Switzerland. SSE Accession # 114734
