VEGETABLES / SQUASH
C.-MOSCHATA
100 days, 8' vines which are very similar to that of a butternut squash, produces an assortment of long and round shaped, tan colored squash, ranging from 3-8 lbs. in weight, very res. to vine borers, productive, fruit has excellent, fibreless, deep orange sweet flesh, this one does not need sweetener, back in 1985 we used it as a first baby food for our firstborn and it didn't require blending. This squash is of first quality, obtained from customer in IN who said it was a family heirloom, the first heirloom squash I ever ran across on my own, was so excited I forgot to get his name or phone number & never saw him again--ALWAYS at least get a phone number I lost my seed back in 2014 and have obtained new seed from two sources. The seed I'm offering in 2025/2026 was grown from the Exchange's frozen seed bake, dating back to 1986, making it extremely close to my original seed. I have a limited amount to share this year but will be working to build up seed stocks.
