Pole lima. Strongly vining habit. Uniformly green stems without pigmentation. White flowers. Straight to slightly curved green pods measure 3.3-3.5" long and 0.7-0.9" wide. Three seeds per pod. Large jet black seeds. Dry pods shatter. Moderately productive when grown on Heritage Farm in 2018. Late season maturity. Earthy flavor. Donated to SSE in 1981 by bean collector John Withee of Lynnfield, Massachusetts and the Wanigan Associates. SSE Accession # 112577
