Long-top, lyrate, green leaves, open growth habit (67 degrees). Root grows largely above soil line. Round, significantly flattened, roots averaging 2.3" length, 4.7" diameter, 1.3lbs. Roots mostly purple with some white at root end. Excellent eating qualities, smooth white flesh, good flavor; a favorite when grown in 2010. SSE Accession # 127684
