Baker Family Heirloom

I received this seed from L.D. Baker of Tinley Park, IL. around 1994. Mr. Baker informed me that it was his family heirloom and that they all called it Baker Family Heirloom. Large red beefsteak tomatoes with the same classic tomato taste of Rutgers, Sioux and Marglobe. Plants are super bushy. This one requires support. Vines regularly attain 10' in a season. Without support most fruit will spoil and be lost. This is our family's main crop for both slicing and canning. Excellent leaf cover and does well in our extreme Oklahoma heat.
