A variety of cutting chicory. Leaves are long, green, and sword shaped. Several cuttings of leaves can be taken throughout the growing season. Leaves are tender, crisp, and slightly bitter when young and can be eaten raw. Older leaves are tougher and best cooked. If left to grow, plants become large and bushy with many leaves.
